Hi,

I have installed WindLDR on my laptop and desktop.
When I monitor a project on my desktop, all the timer values are in HEX.
When I monitor the same project on my laptop, those values are in DECIMAL.
Which is what I want.
What can be the reason for displaying the values in HEX on my desktop?
Both are Win10 PC's

Thanks
Chris

When you monitor values you can select any of the available data types for each register, can you just change it on the desktop? I am not aware of a default setting to select which comes up when you switch to monitor mode.

Do both machines have the same version of the IDEC software.

Hi Shane,

Both PC's do have the same version.
And I know I can switch between Hex and DEC but why dose one default to HEX and the other to DEC.
I think that in the beginning, they bot were in DEC.
The problem is that I can't find a setting for this.
Any ideas?
It is especially annoying when one look at the value under the timer in the ladder program.
There you can't switch it to DEC

I've looked around as well and didn't see setting for a default view. I will play around with it more and see if I can make any sense of it.

Hi Shane,

I found it. Finally!
In the WindLDR taskbar at the bottom there is a switch between HEX and DEC.
The switch becomes visible in Monitor Mode.

Thanks anyway for the help

Regards
Chris
