My display shows a schematic of interconnected parts, and I would like to light up the connecting lines that are active at any given time. The easiest way to do that would seem to be enabling/disabling visibility of lines, or perhaps changing their color based on some PLC relay. However, drawn shapes appear to only have static configurations that can't be changed at run time. Is this correct?

How else can I do this? There must be a way.

Rather than using the line draw feature, you use the lamp and make it the shape you need and it can change state based on a status bit. Just basic straight lines are easy. You can also use the symbol factory graphics for pipes, etc. in place of the basic shapes and change the color of these symbols based on the status of a bit. Water pipes are gray unless the water flow bit is set, then they turn blue, etc.

I can post an example program if it helps.
