Is there a way to wire a line driver encoder to an fc6a? The wiring diagram shows only a regular 2 wire encoder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do just hook up "A" an "B", and not A not, and not B not? Lol, had to, could not help it. But, is that correct?

Can you provide more info on the line driver encoder you are trying to use?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to connect line-driver encoder to the FC6A PLC.

Huntxtrm, you would need the HV version of the encoder or you could use an optocoupler to convert the H% version 5 volt signal from the encoder to 24 volt signal into the PLC high speed input. I have used Wago part number 859-753 for this in the past.
