Is there a way to stop a TML 1 Sec Timer when a bit turns off?

Not without resetting it back to it's initial value. If you want to start and stop a countdown, or count up, I would use a CNT (counter) with a 1 second pulse, such as M8121, to increment the counter. Then you can start, stop, and reset the value at will and it will count in seconds.

Shane,
I am using a CNT up counter but where I am having problems is my Script that converts the time to min/sec on my HMI display requires that I use a TC Timer to do the conversion. As a result my HMI display continues to count down when the CNT is stopped, so my display will show zero min/sec and my program will still be running. The Script formula does not let reference the CNT Do112 to covert to min/sec. Hopefully, I don’t have you too confused.

Thanks
Ralph
