Miniaturization without making compromises: we designed the SA1N photoelectric sensor to fit more advantages into a smaller body.
It’s versatile and reliable enough for a wide variety of applications, able to quickly detect the presence or absence of objects from up to 5cm away (3cm for the block type).
Miniaturized, flexible design
The SA1N’s subminiature size and small sensor head make it easier to install. Both versions are less than 3cm long. The built-in amplifier offers further space savings.
Compared to traditional fiber optic sensor cables, the SA1N’s cable has a higher wire bend radius and tolerance. You can customize your installation and cable routing without worrying about wire breaks.
Sensitivity adjustment for higher accuracy
The sensitivity control dial is easy to find on each version of the SA1N. You can adjust the sensitivity after installing the sensor.
Durability needed in industrial settings
The fiber type’s stainless steel housing and plastic encapsulation have an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. This protection ensures that sensor interference is significantly reduced.

Because it is an electric wire, there is no need to worry about it breaking like with fiber optic sensors. The advantage of the SA1N Subminiature photoelectric sensor is that it is easy to install and reduces the replacement costs incurred if the sensor breaks.

The SA1N Subminiature photoelectric sensor is equipped with a sensitivity adjustment volume. It can be set according to the type of workpiece and distance. This increases the flexibility of sensor installation.

Although some fiber optic sensors are compact, they still require space to install an amplifier. The SA1N mini photoelectric sensor has a built-in amplifier, so there is no need to consider where to install the amplifier.

Easy to Install size
The mini-sized body makes it possible to install it in applications where fiber sensors were previously installed. Also, drilling holes directly into the housing for installation reduces labor and costs.
