U.S. Compliant Switchboards | USA

In the past, electric and industrial equipment could be exported to the United States if the parts used on the equipment met UL standards. However, the National Electrical Code (NEC) and US electrical standards NFPA79, require SCCR (Short-Circuit Current Rating) and limiting current value, that withstands short-circuit current, indicated on the equipment. This is not easy as adequate knowledge and expertise is required to understand how to design a product and what and where the ratings should be indicated on the product for it to be certified by US standards.
Some equipment manufacturers that design distribution boards and switchboards for semiconductor manufacturing factories may be at a loss on how to deal with this issue when receiving requests from customers.
